OSINT is an acronym for Open-Source Intelligence, and describes the practice of collecting, analysing, and processing publicly available information on an individual, company or organisation.

As per definition:

Open-source intelligence (OSINT) is the collection and analysis of data gathered from open sources (covert sources and publicly available information [PAI]) to produce actionable intelligence.
